Angelica’s sits on the main strip in Purok 3, General Luna – one minute from the beach, walking distance from every restaurant, ATM, and scooter rental you’ll need. It’s set back just far enough from the road that you won’t hear traffic at night, which matters more than you’d think in GL. The staff – Jane, Eddie, Jen, Raquel – are the actual reason people come back. They’ll sort your airport transfer, point you to the cheap carinderias the other hostels won’t mention, and unlock you from a broken shower door in under five minutes. The place runs quietly and efficiently. There’s a co-working space with fast internet, hot showers, daily room cleaning, and A/C – all at a price that makes the fancier guesthouses nearby look embarrassing. Not a party hostel. If you want silent dorm beds and competent humans at the front desk, this is the one.
