Two outlets facing each other on the main strip in General Luna – the double setup means you can usually find a table, and the live acoustic band most nights makes it the kind of place you end up staying longer than planned. The chicken is the clear star here: consistently moist, well-seasoned, with a sweet sauce that either works for you or doesn’t (opinions are split). Liempo and anything skewered are more of a gamble – overcooking is a recurring issue, so stick to the cuts that cycle off the grill fastest. Sisig and pompano are solid backup orders if the pork skewers look like they’ve been sitting. Prices run higher than the roadside BBQ spots elsewhere on the island, which some people find reasonable for the atmosphere and others find irritating given the portion sizes. It’s not the cheapest or the most consistent, but on a Friday night with a cold beer and the band playing, it does the job.
