This is the spot in General Luna when you want proper Filipino sizzling plates that actually sizzle, not the tourist-facing stuff. Locals eat here regularly – some basically move in – and the kitchen earns that loyalty with straightforward, well-executed food at prices that won’t make you do mental arithmetic before ordering. If you want comfort food after a long session at Cloud 9, this is where you go. The pork sisig and garlic parmesan chicken wings are the two things you order every time. Liempo sizzling runs around 180 pesos and is hard to fault at that price. Pair anything with the red iced tea, or go for the Oreo shake if you want something that tastes like someone emptied the entire biscuit aisle into a blender (this is not a complaint). They’re open until 4:30 AM, which matters more in Siargao than it sounds. Ask for Charisse or Ronnel. There’s one vegetarian option, so if you don’t eat meat you’ll run out of reasons to return after the first visit. Prices have crept up recently, which is worth knowing if you’re budgeting tight. Go later in the evening – the kitchen hits its stride, and the after-surf crowd thins out enough to actually get a seat.
