Ask for Flor or Vladimir – both run the day-to-day and will sort tours, early check-in, or a late checkout around your flight without much fuss, and Flor’s breakfast gets flagged more than once for a reason. This isn’t a dorm-bed backpacker scene, so if you’re chasing a social hostel with a bar and strangers to drink with, look elsewhere. It suits longer stays best – digital nomads, groups splitting a villa, couples who want their own space – and the location near Catangnan’s shops and rental spots means you’re never far from a scooter or a meal.
