This is a smoke-follow-your-nose roadside skewer stall, and it’s exactly what you want after a full day of surfing when you can’t be bothered with a menu. Grab a plate, pick your skewers off the grill display, hand them to the crew, they warm them up, you sit down and eat. No waiters, no small talk, just pork, pork belly, isaw, and chicken leg done right. Get the pork belly and the chicken leg, load up on isaw if you’re not squeamish, and don’t skip the sauce station – mix your own and it changes the whole plate depending on how heavy you go with it. Dinner is when it gets going and the tables fill up fast, so show up early if you hate waiting. Cash, plastic tables, loud music, and it’s cheap enough that seconds won’t hurt your budget. This beats half the sit-down Filipino spots in GL charging triple for the same skewers with worse sauce. Vegetarians have nothing here, not one thing, so don’t even detour. Go at dinner, go hungry, and go more than once – plenty of people eat here every night of their trip and don’t regret it.
