Fin & Fin sits directly across from Cloud 9, which means you’re eating fresh catch with an actual view of one of the most famous surf breaks in Southeast Asia. The tuna smash burger and fish & chips (made with whatever came off the boat that day – rainbow runner, mahi-mahi, whatever’s running) are the things people come back for, and they come back repeatedly. The Build Your Own Platter system is useful, not a gimmick. You pick your protein, sides, and sauce, which makes it easy to eat around dietary restrictions or just control what ends up on your plate. Sauces are a serious point of pride here. The banana cream pie is made in-house and doesn’t show up on every menu – order it if it’s available. Staff give real recommendations and are consistently described as the friendliest on the island (a competitive category, but they’re winning it).
