Coastal Grounds Coffee Siargao
The best cup of coffee near Cloud 9, full stop. Coastal Grounds sits inside Pops District and runs Yardstick’s Golden Ticket beans through a La Marzocco – which, on an island where ‘espresso machine’ often means ‘optimistic capsule pod’, matters. The staff actually know what they’re doing, the AC works, and the wifi is Starlink. If you need to get something done between sessions or want a proper breakfast before paddling out, this is your spot. The veggie omelette with sourdough and a little balsamic salad is the move – order it with a side of beef tapa if you need fuel for a long morning. The rosé latte and masala chai latte are worth trying beyond the standard order, and the Spanish coffee gets requested over and over. It’s a real breakfast menu, not just toast and eggs as an afterthought. This isn’t a late-night spot or a beach shack with cold Nescafé – it’s a proper cafe that happens to be a two-minute walk from the most famous wave in the Philippines. Go mid-morning after your first session before the lunch rush fills the place. Ask for JM or Jennifer if you want someone to talk you through the menu.
