La Finca sits in Pacifico, the quieter northern alternative to General Luna, and that location is half the appeal. You’re a short walk from the beach, three surf spots, and the handful of cafes that make Pacifico worth the drive up – without the noise and tourist density of GL. The dorm setup is done properly: thick privacy curtains, individual reading lights, USB ports at each bed, and two bathrooms per room so morning queues aren’t a thing. AC works, Wi-Fi works, showers have actual pressure and hot water. The basics that hostels constantly get wrong are handled here. Joyce runs the place and she’s the reason people keep extending their stays.
