Last Chance is the best cocktail bar on the island, and it’s not particularly close. The drinks lean into local ingredients – calamansi, pandan, tropical fruits – without being gimmicky about it, and the menu has enough range that you can go through the whole thing in one sitting (this has happened to people). The food is worth ordering, not just tolerating. The Singaporean shrimp and cajun steak frites get called out by name across multiple visits, which is a better endorsement than any general praise. Art deco interior with A/C inside and outdoor seating if you want the warm night air. Prices are higher than most places on the island. That’s the trade-off, and most people decide it’s worth it. Ask Jessie about the whiskey selection if you’re that way inclined – the owner is, and the back bar reflects it.
