Verde Bungalows sits in a quiet spot close enough to the main drag that you won’t need a motorbike for everything, but far enough that you’ll actually sleep. The loft is the standout option – big enough for a group of five, green patio, and relaxing when things are working as they should. The key phrase there is ‘when things are working.’ Water quality and plumbing issues show up repeatedly in reviews, and some guests checked out early because of dark, unflushable conditions. The responsive social media presence is a point in their favor, but that doesn’t fix a clogged toilet. At ₱1,300 a night, you’re not paying for housekeeping attentiveness or toiletries (bring your own everything). If you get a clean room on a good-infrastructure day, it’s decent value. That’s a coin flip you need to decide if you’re willing to take.
