Yugto is a Filipino comfort food spot in General Luna that opens at 6:30am – which, if you’ve ever tried to find breakfast before 8am in Siargao, you understand why that matters. The menu hits the classics: beef pares, chicken pork adobo, tortang talong, sizzling sisig, crispy palabok. Portions are big, prices are low, and nothing tastes like it was cooked three hours ago. The crispy palabok and dirty matcha both get mentioned constantly, and for good reason. The tortang talong is made properly – grilled, skinned, folded into scrambled eggs – not the sad pan-fried version you get elsewhere. All-day happy hour means two cocktails for ₱300, which is not a typo. This is the kind of place that becomes your default without you really deciding it. Good for early mornings before a surf, late afternoons with a mojito, or whenever you want real Filipino food without spending serious money.
