Kanaway Snack Bar

A snack bar sitting directly across from Catangnan Beach, which means you order your food and then eat it with your feet practically in the sand. The slushies-especially watermelon and mango-are the real reason people come back. The coffee is solid too, particularly the Kanaway Latte (their Spanish latte), which lands at the right sweetness without tipping into bitter. The food menu is more functional than memorable. Sandwiches and paninis (the chicken caesar is the consistent standout) do the job, but don’t arrive expecting much from the silog or tuna melt. Think of the food as fuel between swims, not the main event. The beach here has no entrance fee and the sunset view facing the Catangnan Bridge is worth timing your visit around. Opens at 7am, closes at 6pm-don’t roll up at 5:55 expecting table service.
